Is there a car park near Penquite?

Yes there are 2 car parks within walking distance from the chalet.

Is the Chalet far from the road and beach?

The chalet is 2mins walk from the road and 10mins walk from the beach.

Is Penquite Chalet a dog friendly Chalet at Whitsand Bay?

Yes well behaved dogs are welcome at Penquite at no extra cost.

Can we rent the Cornwall Chalet for less than a week?

For 8 months October - May we allow short stays but the 4 months June - Septmeber we only take 1 week Saturday - Saturday bookings.

Is the Cornwall Chalet equipped to accommodate guests during the winter months?

Yes the chalet is double glazed, has very thick insulation in the walls, floor and ceiling.  There is also a gas heater.

What time can we arrive from on our arrival day and at what time must we vacate the chalet on the day of our departure?

Guests can arrive after 1m and must depart by 11am

Do guests need to bring bedding and towels?

Duvets and pillows are provided but linen and towels are not.

Are there any restrictions on who can stay at Penquite?

Yes, due to previous problems, groups under the age of 18 years cannot stay at the chalet.

Is there a TV and radio at Penquite?

Yes there is a 19" LCD TV and a radio at the chalet.  Though the TV's use, in moderation is normally possible, as our energy is generated by the wind and sun, we cannot guarantee that battery levels will always be high enough to power it.
