Penquite's full size cooker and fridge are fuelled by bottled LPG. The water heater is also powered by gas and provides copious hot water to the Chalet's basins and shower.

Electricity is generated by a large 180 Watt solar panel situated on the roof and a wind generator mounted on a mast. The electricity produced is stored in a 12 volt battery bank and converted to 240 Volts by an Inverter to supply the Chalet's lighting system and any low wattage appliances. A 15" LCD television with Freeview is provided but its use is limited, being dependant on battery levels determined by weather conditions. The Cornwall Chalet also has a portable gas fire.

The Cornwall Chalet accommodation comprises of two double bedrooms with double beds, bedside drawers and under bed storage. Duvets and pillows are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, pots and pans. The living area has a leather corner sofa which folds into another double bed. There is a mezzanine platform with a velux window which can be used for storage or as an additional sleeping area.

Surrounding the Cornwall Chalet is a large decked area with table and chairs perfect for barbeques and relaxing in the sun.  Here you can take in the unspoilt breathtaking views across Whitsand Bay and down into Cornwall. There is a shed which may be used as outdoor storage and the lawn is large enough to pitch a tent.
